FIRST LEGO League Jr. Coach Training

WV Educators, Coaches and Mentors!

The 2017-2018 Aqua Adventure FIRST LEGO League Jr season was released on August 1st and with the excitement and growth of robotics for our youngest generation, we would like to offer our annual coach trainings for FIRST LEGO League Jr.

What is FLL Jr.? FIRST LEGO League Jr. is a robotics program for students Kindergarten to 4th grade (ages 6-10), which is designed to capture young children’s curiosity and excitement surrounding science and technology — and teach them valuable teamwork and life skills while doing something awesome!  The challenge features a real-world scientific concept to be explored through research, teamwork, construction, and imagination.

Who is Invited? This training is designed for coaches only and will prepare new coaches for the FLL Jr. experience. The training will include an overview of FLL Jr., what to expect during the season, how to run a team, and training with LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotics.

All are welcome to attend.  We have 12 robotics hubs in West Virginia that will have FLL Jr. Expos during the month of November and December.  For dates of the Expos please go to WVRoboticsAlliance.Org and select Calendar in the menu. Scroll to November and December to see when and where the Expos are scheduled.
